LISA’S KANGAROO RETREAT

We rescue, rehabilitate, and release wildlife.

This includes injured and orphaned joeys, kangaroos, and wallabies until they are able to be released back into the wild.

We offer tours of our Kangaroo retreat.

Lisa´s Kangaroo Retreat in Redbank, Port Hedland, Western Australia, is home to dozens of animals and relies on community and volunteer support to aid each animal in completing its journey to health and success.

Our work aims to increase survival rates and enable these magnificent creatures to live free in their natural habitat.
We offer tours of our retreat which can be booked on our website or by contacting the Port Hedland Visitor Centre.

You can help:

We are a Non-for-Profit incorporated body and donations are very much needed to keep the day-to-day running of the centre going. Our volunteers play an important role in helping us to rescue, rehabilitate, and release kangaroos back into their natural habitat. When you volunteer with us, it's not just a chance to do good for the community but it's also a great way to cultivate your skills or to carry out a project and win friends.
