Karijini Eco Retreat is one of Australia's leading eco-tourism attractions, situated 1,500km north of Perth in the heart of WA's second-largest national park. The retreat offers deluxe eco tents, cabins and campsites nestled at the edge of Joffre Gorge, along with an outback style restaurant and access to the park’s spectacular walks and guided adventure tours.

Explore a wonderland of ancient natural landscapes formed more than two billion years ago – red cliffs, gorges, waterfalls and emerald green waterholes. Hike an amazing network of walking trails, ranging from easy to challenging, winding through unforgettable scenery. Descend into cavernous gorges, scale some of the oldest rocks on the planet, paddle in crystal clear freshwater pools and cool off with a swim beneath cascading waterfalls.

Wander among wildflowers and native bush, where you may spot red kangaroos and euros, rock wallabies, echidnas, dingoes and the abundant birdlife that call Karijini home. Camp under the outback sky and an incredible canopy of Milky Way stars. Accommodation includes quality furnished eco tents, family eco-cabins and traditional sites for pitching the tent or parking the camper or caravan. Guests have the use of shared ablutions with hot showers and flushing toilets, and bush kitchens with barbecues.

The Deluxe Eco Tents provide back to nature glamping luxury, with private ensuite bathrooms and solar power. The restaurant and bar serve up top quality chef-prepared meals, showcasing native bush tucker ingredients. Breakfast, picnic lunches, dinner and snacks are available daily. Karijini Eco Retreat is 100% Aboriginal-owned by Gumala Enterprises, proudly representing the Banjima, Yinhawangka and Nyiyaparli people of the Pilbara region
