Peedamulla Campground

Peedamulla is an aboriginal word meaning ‘plenty water’ . The site is located near Cane River where it meanders through 226,000 hectares of cattle station country.

Peedamulla’s stone campground has modern amenities, powered & unpowered sites and wonderful views of the expansive countryside, with opportunities to explore the isolated coastline, wetlands and heritage listed ruins, or have a yarn with the local Aboriginal owners, the Parker family.

Peedamulla campground is 7km from the North West Coastal highway along the Onslow-Peedamulla road. The campground office is on the left, sign posted, just past the entrance to the community.

Peedamulla is 203km south of Karratha, 75km east of Onslow & 80km north of Nanutarra roadhouse. Exmouth and the Coral Coast are easily accessible.
